Varun Dhawan has better body proportions imo and is so voluptuous. Plus you know the advertisement was too sexy when the straight men (and maybe gay women) get offended leaving negative comments on YouTube.
FYI I'm not a Gen Z influenced by current famous celebs. I'm a millennial who knows the impact Hrithik had when he came on the scene. I too thought he was sexy back then but now he's lost the appeal for me. Even looking back I don't think he was that sexy.
In terms of others, I like the butt scene by Sunny Kaushal and that's about it.
Off topic but am I the only one who has noticed less shirtless scenes in Indian serials? Just a couple of years back it seemed several series at any given time had shirtless scenes in almost every other episode but now it seems so rare.
Meanwhile, mainstream films have always been catered to the straight male audience so there have been item songs but now it seems even more like the Nora Fatehi trend. Plus unconventional looking actors like Rajkumar Rao paired with beauties like Kriti Sanon. It's changing and I'm afraid might turn into what Latin America went through in the 2000s.

Actors were not in their best shapes since gyms were closed for so long, add to that the lockdown tummy thing due to overeating at home with lesser physical exercise. It makes sense they won't be willing to do bare body scenes for sometime. This week itself we had a shirtless towel scene from Shagun Pandey and it was so evident how much weight he has gained. Just give it some time and it will return to pre-pandemic era normalcy soon.

If you look at many serial actors' Instagram they're still in great shape. I think there has been a shift overall. Even the type of actors casted in shows are different. Serials like Siddhivinayak, Sethji, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Aisi Dewaangi Dekhi Nahi Kahi, etc had shirtless scenes almost daily.
Then there was the trend of the historical/mythological series like Chandra Nandini, Prithvi Vallabh, Mayavi Maling, Chakravatin Ashoka Samrat, Siya Ke Ram, Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha which had a cast of muscular actors wear revealing outfits. No need to strip or go nude for erotica imo.
Plus, the women were dressed demure in contrast. Like in the 60s series in the West or the 90s - early 2000s Latin telenovelas. My prediction is we will see the inevitable increase in sexualition of women this decade in Bollywood / Indian serials especially through the copying of revealing fashions while us gays fixate on the elusive nudity.

Is that true about Rahul Bhat? I've had such a boner for him after seeing the Draupadi series - or more like skimming on mute only for his scenes :) He was at his prime then and shirtless + almost shirtless with only jewellery on top throughout the mythological show.
