This is an interesting time to make this post. There was a lot of chatter on comments why Web Series do not have enough male nudity! But this post kind of makes all the skeptics put to rest. This Bengali crime series sets almost very single suspects butt naked on the show. I do not know the actor's names, so please suggest in the comments my Bengali blog members. The nudity is not sexual or sensual & the men are not always in great shape but it is LEGIT nudity nonetheless. Also I can see this is the maximum number of nude male actors (7) in a single series. This is legendary & this blog will surely focus more on Bengali web series going forward.
On flip side, OTT platforms are surely not censoring male butts. So if we have lack of it it is because too many straight male directors...we just need to support & watch more content from female or LGBT makers. Change will only happen then.

wow, this is great, hopefully we will see male nudity at least from lockup scenes in crime series if not from sex scenes in romance series. wouldve loved to see the bearded guy naked too (good looking one still left in underwear). hope we get more female and/or gay directors or directors who actually understand there are a lot of people who enjoy male nudity or just good looking men in small, revealing underwear. only thing we are still yet to see is the first gay sex scene in otts. nice blog.
Wow. Public do you realize that there is a way to be suggestive to the media about our liking? I ll suggest everybody plz subscribe to the concerned ott channel (immidiately, surely and only) when we get such a series. Make sure the duration of the subscription is minimal so that it can be attributed to d latest release.
I guess in d current era of analytics, it won't be hard to convey our preferences to them.
Meanwhile plz refrain from expressing any nasty, absurd and expressions in bad taste in any media on either d subject or the people concerned with such series.
There is more male nudity in Indian web series than there is female nudity. I mean, how often do you see breasts or bottoms of female Indian actors? I'm not sure what people are whining about.
Consider a somewhat related example. Oppenheimer (produced outside of India) is censored BEFORE it's released in India (granted, it's not web series, but it does highlight my point). CGI is used to cover Pugh's breasts with a black top. Season 2 of Made Heaven is released (which is produced in India) and what do they show? A fully naked Arjun Mathur from behind.
There is very much a double standard in India (and perhaps other parts of the world, too) that permits more male nudity than it does female nudity. In fact, I've read articles which admit this (based on comments provided by the boards that create the ratings).
I really can't see what people are complaining about.

Why can't people just enjoy what the actors decide to show, rather than complaining that there isn't enough nudity?
Lol you are living under a rock, females are sexualized way more than males....I think you haven't seen that content yet... Every mainstream movie, web series, tv series, sitcom...is a prime example of it

females are more sexualized than males. the few butt shots we get here and there in otts are not sexual or erotic, but females from newcomers to a listers are always in a skimpy bikini or in an item song wearing sexy clothes. but male sexiness is usually skipped over or at most shirtless if they are fit. what would be nice to see is some guys in skimpy bikini briefs or small underwear or in bulging tight pants. honestly would like to see male nudity normalised and hot newcomers be ready to bare it all.

But I think no one is denying the fact that women are more sexualised than men. I mean, most of the popular culture is created by straight men with male gaze.
I think the complaint here is there's more male nudity than female nudity on Indian OTTs.
We have literally null female nudity for the past two years. Even in Made in heaven S2, the women never even show bare shoulders after having sex.
A woman covered from head to toe is also easily sexualised in India while totally naked men could be considered religious.
It's just that female nudity is not at all accepted in India, even though sexualistation is accepted.
The problem is govt. is now allowing female nudity, Don't know why such double standard. XZone was totally censored before it was released but in Class webseries you allow school boys to walk naked in front of females.
There is valid point in stating the absence of female nudity. But I cannot understand why is it being discussed elaborately over here..... In every post? This obviously isn't d right forum for it.
I fail to understand why people are complaining about female nudity on this forum which is about Indian male celebrity lol. If you're concerned about females, this is not the place to be lol
