Vishal Singh: Before saying anything about the show's scene or the actor I must add that the year is 1993 & the medium is television!!! Keeping this in mind this one is a LANDMARK MALE NUDITY MOMENT in Indian history. Vishal was exposed many times in the show, be it in shirtless or towel or underwear scenes but in Episode 14 he bared his butt one of the rare gems of Indian Television. Special mention episodes: 14, 1, 6, 9, 29.

Vishal Singh was 19 at that time. Wonder how he agreed to be Stark Naked in National TV which was viewed by Practically all of India at that time, particularly with the presence of other younger actors on the Set. Was he not ridiculed and ashamed by actors playing his siblings/ cousins at that time? Possibly he was not matured enough to understand the implications of going naked on National TV at that age ?
Recall a case where the bridegroom at a marriage ceremony(not wearing underwear) had to be dressed / changed into new Dhoti (He could not do it himself, so somebody made him wear the Original one in the nude as well) by a group of younger boys (brother-in-law , cousins and friends)and was ridiculed for a long time after that. It took him years to live down the jive of " Nanga Jiju " wherever he went and met anyone of the group.. and explaining to others in shame the reason for the name .
Vishal's co-actors were kinder maybe and he had other forays of nude- semi nude scenes as per requirement in other episodes of the Serial as well, but this one, stark Butt Naked appearance, all those years ago , tops it all !!!
ARUN - It was risque but I think you're thinking too much about it. I'm sure his friends didn't live in a bubble.
The nude scene is excellent, sad to think 27 years later we don't have nudity on Indian TV.
I skimmed the other special mention episodes but couldn't see anything (not even shirtless) in episodes 6 or 9?
Yes, episode 1 has a good underwear scene as well. Vishal looks quite cute in that.
However, didn't find anything in episode 6 or 9 either.

Looks like he was used as a sex object starting ep 1, he had to act nude , shirtless , just in short brief ,workout for a long time in slightly bigger underwear still shirtless and much more , for every episode he would be in skimpiest shorts possible with a vest that covers nothing, the director must have been clear on what he is expected off and that’s what have been done , but very interesting that those days tv doesn’t seems much censorship , nowadays it would hv been a #metoo case

I was also not able to find but afterwards I found.. Go exactly on 19.15 of ep29 then let it go slowly don't forward it.. its jst a 2sec. Scene. sanju removes clothes and in green undies he entres the bathroom..
